Java Development

We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join our team and help develop a cutting-edge software platform for the College industry. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with the Java programming language and its frameworks, along with a passion for technology and innovation.

Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications and services

•Develop and maintain high-performance and highly-available software components

•Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing software components

•Ensure software components meet quality standards and performance goals

•Participate in code reviews and other software development activities

•Collaborate with the engineering team to define product requirements and develop solutions

•Ensurethescalability of the system

•Work with customers and other team members to understand system requirements and develop solutions

•Develop automated test cases and maintain documentation

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

•5+ years of professional software development experience

•Expert knowledge of the Java programming language and related frameworks(e.g., Spring, Hibernate)

•Experience with web technologies (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, CSS)

•Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)

•Knowledge of distributed systems and web services(e.g. RESTful APIs)

•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

•Excellent problem-solving, communication
